The problem with this category
Billing software has a habit problem: quote walls, demo gauntlets, desktop-only everything.
We checked every major vendor. Most hide their prices behind a sales call. None of them let you sign up and start working. Meanwhile the denials keep costing you.

Everything between the visit and the payment, in one place
Catch the denial before the payer ever sees it
Every claim runs through scrubbing rules built from real rejection data: demographics, eligibility, code pairing, modifiers, timely filing. Fix problems while the claim is still yours, not three weeks later on a remit.
- Eligibility checks before the visit, not after
- CPT and ICD-10 pairing validation
- Per-payer rules that learn from your denials
Work denials from your phone, the day they land
Denials age badly. The iOS app pushes each one to your pocket with the reason code decoded into plain English, the appeal deadline, and the fix, so nothing sits in a queue until Friday.
- Push notifications on denials and big payments
- Reason codes translated, next step suggested
- Appeal deadlines tracked per payer
Payments post themselves
ERAs flow in, line items match to claims, adjustments land in the right bucket. What used to be an afternoon of keying 835s becomes a two-minute review of the exceptions.
- ERA/835 auto-posting with exception queue
- Patient statements and balances that reconcile
- Days-in-A/R on the dashboard, not in a spreadsheet
Run every client from one login
Built for billing companies, not adapted for them. Separate client workspaces, per-client rules and fee schedules, and branded month-end reports your clients actually read. No per-client file fees.
- Unlimited client accounts on the Billing Company plan
- Per-client dashboards and white-label reports
- Role-based access for your staff
The iOS app
The first billing app built for the biller, not the doctor
Every other "medical billing app" is a prescription pad with a login problem. Ours starts where you work: the claim queue. Check statuses in line at school pickup. Clear a denial from the couch. Watch the payments land in real time.

What is billing actually costing you?
Outsourcing services take 4 to 10 percent of your collections and will not say so until you call. Run your own numbers in thirty seconds. The answer shows on the page, no email required.

Who runs on it
Billers first. Always.
I stopped dreading Mondays. The weekend denials are already decoded and sorted by deadline before my coffee is done.
We left a suite that charged us per provider, per module, per everything. This is one number a month and the app is genuinely good.
The scrubber caught a modifier issue that had been getting us bundled for months. That one flag paid for the year.
Common questions
Asked constantly. Answered plainly.
How much does medical billing software cost?
Cloud billing software generally runs $100 to $500 per provider per month once you count the add-ons vendors quote separately: clearinghouse fees of $25 to $500 a month, data migration, training, storage. Our pricing is flat and printed on the page: $79 to $249 a month with all of that included. The full breakdown is in our 2026 pricing survey of 15 vendors.
What percentage do medical billing companies charge?
Outsourced billing services typically charge 4 to 10 percent of monthly collections, with 5 to 8 percent most common. On $50,000 of monthly collections that is $2,500 to $4,000 every month, forever. Software plus an in-house biller usually beats that well before a practice reaches full volume. Run your own break-even numbers.
Is the software HIPAA compliant?
Yes. Encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access controls, full audit trails, and a Business Associate Agreement included on every plan, not sold as an upgrade.
Can I move my data from my current software?
Yes. Patients, payers, fee schedules, and codes import from CSV and 837 files, and migration help is free on every plan. Most practices are working in the new system within a day.
